Privacy policy

Dead Index operates deadindex.com and the public services available through this domain. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the website, demonstration-access requests, API-access requests, and user accounts, and how that information is used.

This policy applies to Dead Index-operated services on deadindex.com. It does not govern software deployed and operated within a customer's own environment.

LOCK. A LOCK deployed and operated in a customer's own environment is not covered by this policy.

FEED. The public FEED dataset is covered by this policy. A customer-operated FEED deployment is not.

RIG. The public RIG demonstration is covered by this policy. A customer-operated RIG deployment is not.

PLOT. The public PLOT demonstration is covered by this policy. A customer-operated PLOT deployment is not.

TRACE. The public TRACE demonstration is covered by this policy. A customer-operated TRACE deployment is not.

SEAL. The public SEAL demonstration is covered by this policy. A customer-operated SEAL deployment is not.

PIT. The public PIT demonstration is covered by this policy. A customer-operated PIT deployment is not.

What we collect

If you request a demonstration or a FEED key, we store the email address you submit, an optional organization and note, the time of submission, and standard request metadata (IP and user agent) in hosting logs. If you sign in, we keep a session cookie on this host for Lab and Account. The account ends after twelve hours, or eight hours idle. You can change the password or delete that account from Account. We do not ask for classified or operational media on this site. Imagery selections created during a Lab session stay in the tab unless you download them.

How we use it

To reply about demonstrations, keys, product updates, and access. We do not sell request emails. We do not use them to train models.

Processors

The site is hosted on Vercel. Request records are stored in Supabase.

Retention and rights

We keep request records until you ask to be removed, or until the list is no longer needed. Delete an account from Account, or use the contact form to access, correct, or delete a request address.
